Terms of use and ordering
1. Service and operator
LE COMPTOIR is the order-and-collect service of Brasserie d’Estavayer-le-Lac, operated by FR Brothers Sàrl. The catalogue shows products, selling units and prices including VAT.
2. Account and contact details
Customers provide their first name, last name, phone number and a valid email address. A complete address (street and number, postcode, city and country) is required before every order. These contact details are saved with the order and sent to the Brasserie in its notification email. A verification code proves control of the phone number, not civil identity or age. Protect your codes and report suspicious use to the operator.
3. Orders and confirmation
The catalogue invites an offer to purchase. Submitting creates a payment obligation if the Brasserie accepts. The receipt acknowledgement is not acceptance. The Brasserie confirms availability and collection time; that acceptance concludes the contract. Wait for it before travelling. Unavailability or an obvious error may result in a refusal, which will be communicated.
4. Prices, weight and payment
Prices include VAT and specify per item, pack, kilogram or litre. Weight-based products are ordered by total weight in steps of 50 g; liquids sold by the litre by total volume in steps of 0.05 L. No portion-cutting selection is required. The delivered quantities must match the order; changes require the customer’s agreement before payment. Payment is made at the Brasserie on collection. An order confirmation is not proof of payment.
5. Optional paper bag
A paper bag can be expressly selected for CHF 1 including VAT. No paid bag is added without selection. Its price appears in the summary, email and PDF.
6. Collection and cancellation
Choose an available collection time at least 1 hour after ordering, or at least 24 hours if the combined weight of products sold by weight exceeds 2 kg. Exactly 2 kg requires 1 hour. Pieces and litres are not converted into kilograms. Collect your confirmed order. Contact the Brasserie promptly if you cannot attend or need a change. Use suitable transport for fresh products and follow the storage instructions provided.
7. Collection commitment and uncollected orders
Submitting is an offer to purchase with a payment obligation if the Brasserie accepts. Its acceptance concludes the contract. The customer must then collect and pay at the agreed time. Contact info@brasserie-esta.com immediately if unable to attend; cancellation requires the Brasserie’s agreement. For uncollected orders without an agreed cancellation, prepared or specially reserved products that cannot be resold may be invoiced, deducting avoided costs and resale proceeds. No double payment is charged. Mandatory customer rights remain unaffected.
8. Product information and alcohol
Check origin, allergens and storage information. Contact the Brasserie before ordering if information is missing or you have special needs. Wine and beer require a minimum age of 16, spirits 18. Staff may request ID at collection and refuse handover if the required age cannot be established.
9. Complaints and applicable law
Report issues to info@brasserie-esta.com with your order reference. Mandatory customer rights remain unaffected. Swiss law applies subject to mandatory applicable provisions.
Privacy notice
1. Data and purposes
The operator processes first and last names, full addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, order and pickup dates and times, orders, acceptance records and session data to manage accounts, prepare products, arrange collection, send confirmations and protect the service.
2. Order emails
Relevant contact details and order contents are sent to Resend when enabled for transactional emails. Recipients are customers or authorised staff. Sign-in codes are handled by the verification provider described below.
3. Retention and rights
Data is retained for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and applicable legal duties. Request access, correction or deletion via info@brasserie-esta.com, subject to required retention. Order emails do not constitute consent to advertising.
4. Hosting and providers
The application and database are hosted with Hostinger. Depending on the service and configuration, Hostinger and its subprocessors may process data in different countries. The operator limits access, selects an appropriate available hosting location and governs international transfers under applicable Swiss law. Any SMS, payment or email provider actually activated will be added to this notice before production use.
5. Account security
Accounts are protected by a sign-in code and a secure session cookie. This application collects no identity document copy; age is checked on site when required.
6. Phone verification by SMS
When you request a code, your phone number, message language, OTP message content and delivery metadata are sent to Zavu Labs Inc. for SMS delivery. The code you enter is then checked on our server and is not sent back to Zavu for validation. No card numbers, identity documents or purchase history are transmitted.
